i had given up on this game, but something told me to give it a second chance. i'm glad i did. i'm hooked now.
I was connected to Live today, but not for MW2, I was playing Mass Effect. ;-)
Judging by those pictures, i would say they can't get xbox development right, either ;)
IMHO both versions look like garbage, according to these pictures anyway. the xbox 360 MW2 tv commercial looks very nice and blows these screen shots out of the water.

I think Some of the casuals Microsoft is targeting already twitter and facebook on their mobile devices. You get status updates instantly. The truth is when i'm gaming, i don't want to be interrupted. If i'm not gaming, i'd rather twitter or facebook on my pc.
If i didn't have a computer or a cell which had dedicated facebook & twitter apps, i guess i would want them built-in my gaming console. but if that were the case, wouldn't i benefit more from having an actual web browser bui...

What exactly isn't working properly? If i remember correctly i played tekken DR for about an hour today with no issues whatsoever, yet when i turned on my 360 for some 360 playtime i was not able to log on to live.
I understand some of you are trying to be funny, but some jokes have been played out, time to come up with some new, fresh material boys and girls.
i'm getting this on 360, but not because it looks "better". I just miss playing with some of my xbox 360 friends.
I guess that makes two of us not getting our points across, so let's just leave it at that.

It doesn't shock me nor upset me in the least bit, it's your own opinion and choice.
What i meant was home was all that and a bag of chips on paper, and now that it's out, it's just alright. true it gets better and perhaps one day it will deliver on the promise, but all that initial excitement and hype lead to many dissapointed people.
And like I already said, just because we knew the games are coming doesn't change the fact that they are indeed coming.

It's tough to say at this point, but i'm sure they will both be a blast to play regardless of graphic differences.
I don't have the list like most do on this site, but i'm sure uncharted 2 is coming out this year. How about M.A.G, Rachet & Clank? i'm sure that's coming out this year as well. If that's not enough, what about all the great titles that have already been released? Infamous, KZ2 and other multi platform titles and PSN titles. I'm still trying to catch up.
Jax07, play2man is a troll. I guarantee you he has multiple accounts and set one up just so he could give his other accounts bubbles and make his 1 comment about how great microsoft conference was. As a matter of fact, don't expect a reply from him for the next hour or so as i'm sure he ran to his nearest game store to purchase a 360. ;-)
Why are you so upset? just because something wasn't a surprise does not mean it doesn't exist or that it's less exciting. The Games are still coming, there are enough quality exclusive games to keep you busy til the end of next year and more stuff will be announced in the process. All will be well in Playstation Land, trust me.
Playstation home ring a bell? let's not get carried away. Sure it looks promising but delivering on the promise is hard.
Saying Microsoft won based on something that looks good on paper is foolish.
Sony coulda released a controller that massages my hand and can last 30 days between charges, but i'd be foolish to think they won a game conference based on some gizmo that seems "promising".
I'm not even going to comment on the Nintendo because i don't own a Wii, nor i plan on buying one.
The Sony and Microsoft shows were ok, it's cool we get to find out more of the games and a couple nice surprises, but nothing really mindblowing from either. I could care less about all the gadgetry, and social networking stuff( Twitter, Facebook and whatever else Microsoft announced, i think last-FM) I can get all of those applications on my phone already. i just want some kick ass games...
I'm looking forward to both games. Having said that, i'm 100% sure Forza will not be able to compete with GT's visuals. If you're an xbox owner, expect Forza to blow you away with gameplay and newly added features, but not Graphics. On the other hand, I fully expect GT5 to improve upon GT 5:Prologue's visuals, gameplay and of course features since Prologue was just a "teaser".
Forza 3 might come close to prologue's graphics, but i'm not convinced it will surpass it. though i'...
Heavenly Sword easily tops Ninja Gaiden 2/Sigma, Ninety nine nights, Devil May Cry 4, Conan and any other hack n slash game released thus far for either console graphically. Maybe I Missed a few, but i love Heavenly Sword, sure it's kinda short, but i've played it so much i got my money's worth.
I can understand how some people have knocked it based on just how short the game was(took me 8-9 hrs to beat the first time) but i don't think i've ever felt as connected to the characters as...
DLC is a double edge sword, it's great and some developers embrace to add more replay to their game while keeping it reasonable. I understand developers need to get paid for their hard work, but this is just unethical and i'm certain crystal dynamics is not alone. It's up to Sony and Microsoft to step up and have some sort of control over stuff like this.
They're both awesome games. IMHO, Resistance 2 is a better game than R:FOM, though graphically i was let down as i was with Halo 3. I was hoping to be blown away graphically, i wasn't. However, the gameplay more than makes up for it.
As far as Gears 2, I didn't expect it to look any better than the 1st, and to me it doesn't. but that's ok, as it too makes up for it in Gameplay. Horde is so much fun and i'm enjoying the campaign.
i would give both games a 9/10 bu...
Don't forget about Kazuya's moves which can't be blocked. especially his combo leg sweeps.
